The top 10 takes into account a team's record, strength of schedule (who teams have beat and lost to so far) and a blend of other factors such as history and the potential to remain among the top teams for the rest of the season.

Comment: Defending 4A state champs, Kenny got off to a good start, including a district win over Forrest as well as 5A playoff participant Bartram Trail.
2. Eagle's View (1-0)

Last week: Win over Arlington Country Day

This week: First Coast Christian (Feb 26), at Palatka (Feb. 27)
Comment: Defending 1A state champs, kicked off their season with a big win over local 2A power Arlington Country Day.
3. Providence (2-0)
Previous ranking: No. 3
Last week: 2-0 with wins over Nease, St. Johns Country Day.
Key wins: Nease
Key losses: None
This week: Wolfson Tournament (Feb. 23, 24, 27)
Comment: Defending 2A state champs, Stallions got off on the right foot with wins over solid Nease program as well as an upcoming St. Johns team.
4. Wolfson (2-0)

Last week: 2-0 with wins over ACD and UC

This week: Wolfson Tournament (Feb. 23-27)
Comment: Jed Douglass era got off to a good start with wins over Arlington Country Day and University Christian.
5. Bolles (1-0)

Last week: Knocked off Palatka

This week: Wolfson Tournament (Feb. 23-27)
Comment: Bolles started its season off on the right foot with a win over a solid Palatka team, that has won three consecutive district championships.
6. Mandarin (4-0)

Last week: 4-0 with wins over Stanton, First Coast, Fletcher and Orange Park
Key wins: Stanton, Fletcher
Key losses: None
This week: at Nease (Feb. 24), at Parker (Feb. 27)
Comment: Mandarin kicked off its season with a bang winning the Baker Sports Invitational at First Coast going 3-0 with wins over Stanton, First Coast and Fletcher. Mandarin finished the week with a district win over Orange Park in a Saturday afternoon matinee.
7. Stanton (2-1)
Previous ranking: No .7
Last week: Went 2-1 with wins over Baldwin, Trinity
Key wins: None
Key losses: Mandarin
This week: at West Nassau (Feb. 26)
Comment: After dropping a close one to Mandarin, Stanton regrouped to win its final two games of the tournament to finish in fifth.
8. Fernandina Beach (2-1)
